You heard me. Seoul (said 'soul') is one of the greatest places in the world. It's filled with the best food you'll ever eat, the greatest people you'll ever meet, and the most unique culture you'll ever see. So here's what you do - pack your bags, and get on a plane to Incheon airport because you're missing out on the greatest city in the world.
Let's take a moment to talk about Seoul. Seoul is a lively city during the day and tranquility during the night. It is the cultural, economic, and political centre of South Korea. In other words, it's where the action happens. Funny enough, the name 'Seoul' means 'capital' in Korean. That's pretty ironic.
So what exactly can you do in Seoul?
The first thing you'll notice about Seoul is the pink blossom trees. The kind you see in movies and have always dreamed about seeing in real life. It's a scene straight out of a movie. It's an instagrammable picture that will make all your followers jealous. That's beside the point. Seoul's natural beauty is worth seeing.
If nature isn't your thing, fret not! For there are many other tourist hotspots for you to go.
Gyeongdong/Dongdaemun Market - This market is one of the largest market squares in the entirety of Asia. It's full of meat, sushi, gimbap or kimbap, and even fruits. Sometimes you can even find fried bugs, and it's quite a sight when you do. If you're trying to get into skincare, you'll find that this mall/market is filled with Korean cosmetic stores like Innisfree, Etude House, The Face Shop, etc. I bought so many face masks, and lotions when I visited Seoul, and I still have my stash.
Some people just aren't foodies and aren't into cosmetics, but that's totally fine! Seoul is surrounded by historical palaces and temples which have guard ceremonies every hour for your viewing pleasure!
Do you see? Seoul is such a beautiful city that has activities for all kinds of people. I'm a teen and I enjoyed going to Seoul! It's a beautiful city, with amazing culture, and mouth-watering food. So I assume, you're booking your next getaway to Seoul, South Korea!
